We're using an external anti-spam gateway and want to eliminate spam that is being delivered directly, bypassing the MX records.

For that, I would like to disallow SMTP access (for both delivery and relay) except authenticated SMTP or allowed source networks.

That does not seem to be an option, however.

Any ideas would be welcome.

If all clients can be configured to use alternate ports (587, 2525, 465) for outgoing authenticated SMTP instead of 25, the answer is to disallow port 25 from all but a group of host addresses that includes the Postini Systems.
