Hello everyone,
Situation: control (software appliance 7.4), 2 internet lines. One line is with dynamic IP, the other with a fixed IP. Both lines are connected to 2 network interfaces. Both lines are up in control.

What we will have to do:
The fixed IP-line should be used for E-Mail traffic (inbound outbound), sync with mobile phones and one other service came inbound.
The dynamic line should be used for downloads from the clients inside the LAN using http, https and ftp.

Question: what will i have to configure where? Could someone help me with this issue please?
Thanks!

That is done in the traffic rules in both , incoming and ougoing traffic.
Outgoing: You should set the outgoing traffic for the mail server only through the fixed ip. That is done in the nat column of the rule of the mailserver where you can select which internet link to use.Do not forget to enable all the services you use( https, smtp, smtps, etc)

For the incoming traffic you should create two rules, one for the workstations (either using the dynamic ip or a load balancing). And another for the mail server.

Make sure that the Dns traffic is enabled for either the mail server or the Dns server you are using so that it can resolve the hosts.

Regards.

Hi,
ok i did some work now. I changed the config like this:
192.168.0.1 - 192.168.0.10 - Servers, to fixed IP Internet (6MBit, works fine)
192.168.0.11 - 192.168.0.254 - Clients, to dynamic IP Internet (32MBit, works also fine)

Trouble: The over all speed from the clients and also from the Servers to the Internet is 6MBit. I checked the outgoing IP´s (http://www.wieistmeineip.de/) before i did a speed test (http://speedtest.net/). If i connect a client directly to the cable internet connection at the cable modem, the speed is 32MBit. I configured multiple internet links in KC an turned off load balancing at the internet interfaces.
Any ideas?
