Hello,

I have made a test on a Moutain Lion machine and Workspace does not start. Have any ideas where this problem could come from ?

Here are the logs :

26/07/12 18:54:38,055 com.apple.launchd[1]: (com.kerio.workspace.application[4584]) Exited with code: 1
26/07/12 18:54:38,055 com.apple.launchd[1]: (com.kerio.workspace.application) Throttling respawn: Will start in 10 seconds

I experienced this also. Any solutions or workarounds?

I can't believe Kerio hasn't any mention anywhere of Mountain Lion. The dev preview has been out long enough to warrant at least a comment on it, if not a Workspace point release to fix the issue.

It appears that the kworkspace system user id is removed upon Mountain Lion upgrade and can't be created on a new install.

Believe I found a workaround.

1. delete and recreate the kworkspace user accepting the defaults. You can give it any password

2. run the Kerio Workspace installer again

Your workspace should be up and running now. (Thanks for the tip about the user cpanderson)

Hello,

we'll be releasing a point release with Mountain Lion support later this week. The kworkspace user error is one of many Mountain Lion issues that are resolved there.
