Hello I have the following problem: My upload is for my dedicated server too bad. When servers are 12.5 MB / s on. However, Windows is only one eighth of that of 12.5.

With Windows Server 2008 R2

Server:
Hetzner EX10 Rootserver (can not use links until 5 posts...)

Can the Kerio Control slow down the upload?

If so, where can I find a setting to fix this?

Thank you very much

We had a customer with this kind of problem.
In the NIC of the WAN we changed the MTU.
And after that the upload was working well.

Maybe can help this too.
But are you running Control on W2k8 server or appliance?

Hello,

I have a server at Hetzner and I had the same problem and solved it yesterday by disabling Protocol Inspectors from Traffic Rules (Check attached screenshot).

Note that I didn't disabled Protocol Inspector on FTP rule. Because when you disable protocol inspector on any service, antivirus can't manage it and can't scan connections against AV.

Hope that fixes your issue.

@ICT and Me,

Did you changed the MTU value on Applicance or Software edition?

Thank you.

Damjan,
W2k8 = Windows 2008
WAN = Wide Area Network (Internet)
NIC = Network Interface Card
MTU = Maximum Transmission Unit
This can be found by advanced button of the NIC settings.
Are you from Germany?

@Spezialeinheit, you are welcome. I'm glad that I can help you Smile

@ICT and Me,
Is your customer using PPPOE connection or dedicated internet connection like us on Hetzner?
And what MTU value did you used?

Thank you.

@KursadOlmez
Dedicated Internet line. The ISP had programmed the Cisco fixed on 1450 MTU.
So we programm the NIC on 1450 MTU.
