I have a user that gets the following message when opening Outlook.
"Unable to open your default e-mail folders. Operation aborted."

I checked the server logs and they are getting
[21/Aug/2012 11:44:28] php_utils.cpp: webmail getMessageContent: Bad message uid (folder: ~xxxxx<_at_>xxxx.xxx/INBOX; uid: 6aa)

Any ideas what they mean or how to solve the problem?

Over 1,500 views and no one has any ideas? Sad

Is anyone else currently experiencing this issue?

After reading some other threads, it seems the message from the server log is common and not related to the error when opening outlook.

I also discovered that web mail works 100% fine with no issues.
I've tried rebuilding the Outlook profile from scratch on the users computer and on a new computer and I get the same message either way.

Any ideas why Outlook client will not work but web mail is fine?

try to delete the kerio folder:

C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Local\Kerio\Outlook Connector

and rebuild the profile

I was able to resolve the problem by re-indexing the user account.
