Weird issue, when using Apple Mail, we have two users, Alvin and Stu. Alvin shares his INBOX to Stu using webmail client. Stu's apple mail shows ~alvin<_at_>example.com and underneath shows the INBOX.

If Alvin removes the shared folder from Stu, Stu's apple mail still shows ~alvin<_at_>example.com but without the INBOX.

Ideas?

P.S. We are using Kerio Connect 7.4.2.

Please make sure that no other folder (like Calendar) is shared with user Stu.

Hello,

I have checked that no other folders are shared with the user Stu. Furthermore, I search every status.fld file in the store for the user Alvin, and there are no references to user Stu.

Confused?

The problem could be the folder.map or sub.fld.

On the mailserver, in the ~/store/mail/"domain name"/stu/ folder, look for the files folder.map and sub.fld. Edit the files with a text editor and see if the file contains any references to Alan.

If you do find a reference to Alan then stop Kerio Connect and either delete the line from the file.

Thanks Lucian! And btw, modifying the folder.map file fixed the ghost account in apple mail!
