Hi!

Our sip-provider (ip-only.se) has two options of the sip-server, either two ip:s or a dns-round-robin "sip.hub.ip-only.net" that alternates between 82.99.32.86 and 82.99.32.90.

The calls are received on either ip, not both and they do not require REGISTER.

We have tried to use sip.hub.ip-only.net for one interface in Kero Operator but then we only recieve the calls that enters thru the IP that was resolved the first time (either 82.99.32.86 or 82.99.32.90), all other calls that are received via the second ip gets denied (we can see this in the logs.)

I hope we have missed something basic..

---

Right now we have made a workaround by adding two interfaces with either ip, but it's not a perfect solutions since we can't enter the same phone-number on two interfaces so we have had to use 0200 00XXX for one and an phone-numberlist for the other.

Hi,

can you try to use 2 interfaces and instead of DNS name use IP 82.99.32.86 on first SIP interface and 82.99.32.90 on second interface please?

Hi, Jakub!

We have currently added two interfaces with the hostname of the providers sip;
interface 1: ser1.ip-only.net (resolves to 82.99.32.86)
interface 2: ser2.ip-only.net (resolves to 82.99.32.90)

We do get all the incoming calls without any access denied in the logs.

However, we need to be able to route the numbers to our extensions and because we can't add the same number to both interfaces we have to do a workaround that is a bit of a hack.

Our current setup is as follows:
(I have altered the numbers before posting to forum)

interface 1:
External numbers: 0200430500,0200430501..(removed)..0200430549,040200530..(rem oved)..040200539

interface 2:
External numbers: None
Called number "Strip numbers from left": 8

Interface 2 works because 0200 - numbers match our extensions (last 2 digits) and if a call enters for 040 we only get one digit (1-9) and we have set up call-queues for 1...9 that redirects to the correct extension.

It's not pretty but works. However we will get problems if we add another range with the same length..

Hi,

this is unfortunately the only way how to configure it in Kerio Operator 2.0.X

We will solve it in further releases.

Ok, thanks Jakub!

At least we now know that we haven't missed something obvious..
