Hi,

have set a out of office messages before vacation. After a 14 days Kerio Connect stopped more of less, because some automated emailing systems talked with Kerio Connect and confirmed that the out of office message arrived at this system. Kerio replied that I'am still out out office and so on .....

MacOSX 10.7.3 Server, Kerio Connect lastest version, 10 GB Ram, 20 way RAID5 SAS 2,5
I/O Performance still okay, about 5-10 ms per I/O
Round about 1,5-2 Mio. files in .../queue/00..34

I still delete the files of this automated ping/pong since 30 hours, Kerio Connect is now able to display the queue again. It's seams to my that a out of office message can be a very efficent DOS attack.

1.) how to prevent such ping/pongs with systems where the reply-to-address is unknown to senders email server
2.) any better way to get rid of this files in the queue than a "find .. grep .. rm"?

Thanks

Henri
