Has anyone made the transition from PRI to SIP.

We have the bandwidth, and it looks like we can save at least $500 per month using SIP.

Just wondering if we can expect similar call quality?

Do I need to manage my users' expectations in any other way.

If using the G.711 codec, you will need about 80 kbit/s per one call in each direction (64 kbit/s nominal plus packet headers). I'd also recommend that you set higher priority for voice traffic on your firewall/router, to prevent against occasional spikes caused by large downloads and the like.
