Hi there I'm new with apple and with Kerio.
So far I like it. But to be honnest I still miss microsoft. Smile Sorry Guys.
But believe it or not this week I get my first iMac. Laughing

So for now I have 2 questions.

The first question is:
I have Kerio Connect 7.4.3 build 7813 and I'm running Mac OS X 10.8.2 Server.
When installed kerio says that port 80 and 443 already is running.

I did
sudo launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.apache.httpd.plist
But after a reboot of the server. Kerio is down.

Because when the server is rebooted the standard webservice is running (in the server app websites turned off) and kerio cannot start his own services.

Can some tell me how to bypass this and let Kerio overrule the server.

I tried 'man launchctl' but I cannot find nothing.

Hope that someone can help me with this.

The second problem I have is when migrating from exchange 2007 to Kerio I have one mailbox with more then 10.000 mails. Size 2.6Gb. The problem is that there are a lot of double mails and calendar items.

Has somebody a script for it to remove the doubles. Kerio support (netherland) cannot help me.

Thx in advance

Michel

Hello Michel,

for the 1st issue : check if your kerio self-signed certificate is still valid and/or renew it.

for the 2nd issue : try to connect to the mailbox with Thunderbird, then download and use the "Remove Duplicate Message (alternate) 0.3.7" extension.

hope this help.

Christophe.

@caberegg

Thx for that.
In reply of the first answer I did renew the certificate and deleted the first one create by the installer (after exporting the .crt and .key ofcourse).

But that did not work. After reboot i still have to do the sudo thing and then it works again.

For the second I will try that now after pressing the submit button. Smile

Update:

Thunderbird and the Remove Duplicate extension works like a charm.

The Certificate still causing issues.

I create a new certificate.
Filled in the values Hostname, Organization Name, City, State and Country
Set new Cert as default.
Removed the old one.
Restarted Kerio.

Clients get the cert and do trust this cert. But when rebooting the server both HTTP and HTTPS services from Kerio are not running.

Hi Michel,

so, this may not be the certificate, even if it has worked for me one time.

you should look elsewhere, maybe at the Lion server services, try to stop them all.

I am not a Mac OS specialist, try to repost the issue.

Bye.
