When many of iPhone users send a jpg via email, I receive the jpg plus an addition blank txt file named Att00B08C68.txt. I'm not sure what that's all about. Never happened with Exchange and people are wondering how I'm going to solve this.

PS I also notice problems if a Mac user emails an excel spreadsheet if it is in the xlsx format. If they dumb it down to xls, we don't have any trouble.

It depends on a client you use for email viewing. In general, mail app on iOS sends the data as text+picture+text, where the last text is positioned as an inline attachment. The last text can be then displayed as an attachment because of unusual message formatting.

So, there is a reason. Is there a way to change this either on the server (KC) or in the sending client?
