The easiest way for me to explain this is to say how I can reproduce the problem.

If I send myself an email and read it on my phone via activesync then when I later open my outlook the read email does not appear in the list emails in outlook.

It does eventually appear after an hour or so of having outlook running but having it missing is an issue.

Can anyone recommend me a possible avenue or a solution I can use to solve this issue?

Thanks.

Simon,

What version of Outlook are you running ?
How is it synchronizing with Connect ? IMAP, POP3, Kerio Outlook Connector, EWS ?
Have you tried clearing the account in Outlook and recreating it ?
How many items are there in the Inbox ?
I presume the email appears correct in webmail ?

Hi, sorry I missed details out.

Outlook 2010 x86 Prof edition.

Using the outlook connector.

The mailbox is large in that it is around 4Gb, but most the messages are in folders. The inbox is below 1500 messages.

Webmail shows correctly also.

Oddly this does not happen the other way round, i.e. reading in outlook before phone, it then still appears on phone as expected.
