Hello,
I saw this new feature in 7.4 release.
I tried looking at the manual but was unable to find more informations on that.
I supposes this would allow me to filter both www.xxx.com in http as well as https without requiring using a proxy on my clients. I know other firewalls do it symply inspecting the URL within the certificate passed to client during the SSL Hello Phase

Could you please someone point me to a manual where the "HTTPS traffic filtering" feature is explained?

Thanks

Hi I was too suprised for working kerio filtering in https
all lower versions of kerio control don't filter https trafic direct or on proxy
this version 7.4.0 can filter https trafic ONLY on proxy filter don't work on direct ( routed or nat ) connections.
so and here is an question for kerio marketing because they doing a deception of customers with the " web content filter " web it's http https and others protocols not only http protocol

luca.civinini@ctt,

You can find a brief mention of the new HTTPS blocking here (under URL):

http://manuals.kerio.com/control/adminguide/en/sect-urlrules .html

I think you should use this feature in addition and as a complement to the other methods recommended in previous versions.
