I have about 30 firewalls and 10 e-mail servers installed at various locations that I'm in charge of, most of which are using the integrated Sophos antivirus. I just read an article about several potential security vulnerabilities in the Sophos scanning engine. My question is: Should I disable the antivirus in my Kerio products? I can't post a link because I haven't posted to the forum enough. But try pcworld dot com and /article/2013580/researcher-finds-critical-vulnerabilities-i n-sophos-antivirus-product.html

Wow, hectic. I am not sure how this would impact Kerio products, but guess it could still attack the system it is running on. We run to separate AV's in our network.

Only few of reported issues are related to Sophos version, which is integrated in Kerio products. Sophos is working on resolving the issues and address them in following updates. You can get more information here: http://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/knowledgebase/118424.asp x
Sophos anti-virus in Kerio product will be automatically updated as soon as these updates will be released by Sophos.
