I would like to move a user over to a new server.
The issue is that their mailbox is about 23gb in size, so i cannot do an export / import using outlook and a pst file. I need to copy over the user's raw data files using an external hard drive.

How do i export and import the data without using outlook?
The user is already created on the new server. I tried copying the user's folder across and dumping all the files into the user's folder on the new server but it didnt work.

Is the new server a migration of an old server? Is the domain and all mail config the same? If so, then doing the following should work, imo.

- Create same mailbox (same username) on the new server.
- Stop Mail service on old server
- Restore just that user from Kerio connect's backup (old server) to a temporary folder.
- Stop new Mail service
- Copy the content from the temporary folder to the newly created user's folder.
- start the server and from the admin console, click on the user > more action and do reindexing.

That should do the job. It will take time as its 23G.

If they both are completely different servers and different domains then im not sure the above will work.
