good day, lots of thanks in advance to all that will take a look at this topic.
The Problem i am currently facing is the following:
We recently got the request that one of our colleagues should be forwarding mails to clients by "sending as" one of our managers.
So far so good, just go into Outlook 2010 and activate the "from"-field when a new E-Mail is opened, choose from which adress to send, and off you go.
In other Outlook accounts that does not seem to be a problem since the receiver is being informed that the e-mail is being send from Manager-A through Colleague-B (In the Name of), if you do check non-corporate accounts like for example thunderbird or aol this information is not ebing forwarded. This is a little bit disturbing, since in that case you could be using someone elses account to write mails with wrong information/harmful content without being capable of tracking the real "sender".
Is there a way to block this via permissions over the kerio connect mail server? I have to admit that i wasn't able to find any option suggesting a possibility of actively setting permissions for that option.
Lots of thanks in advance for your feedback & suggestions.
With best wishes from Germany anda pleasant day/evening to you all
