We use Public Folders for a variety of things, and have thousands of old messages in subfolders of Public Folders. Under Mac OS Mail, using the Account "Keep copies for offline" Preference of "All messages but omit attachments" all these messages get cached to the local Mail.app IMAP message cache. This is 9GB of data on my HD, which is an SSD, so space is at a premium.

Does anyone know of a way to keep my mailbox (inbox, sent, personal folders) cached locally, but not the Public Folders?
