Hi all,

I am using the Kerio Account Assistant in Mac OS X 10.8 and I have found that it uses port 8800/tcp for Outlook web when our Kerio installation is setup to use 443/tcp and it uses 465/tcp for SMTP instead of 587/tcp which is what our installation is setup to work with.

Is there any way to get the Account Assistant to work with our ports?

The Account Assistant tool is pre-configured to use the service ports that are configured on your Kerio Connect server.

Using the Kerio Connect Admin console go to Configuration->Services and change the prots assigned to the different services as needed. Notice that one service can run on more than one port (HTTP: TCP/8800 and TCP/80). Download the Account Assistant package from your KErio Conenct server again and give it a try.

Thanks for your reply.

Okay, it appears that it is giving the ports listed in services, but it is using the non-secure services. Is there a way to make the account assistant only use the secure variant of a service, the assistant is checking for access on the non-secure service by default, is there an option to ensure it only uses the secure one?

Secure services are used by default.
If non-secure services are configured, typical problem is common name in certificate is not same to hostname. E.g. certificate is for "mail.yourcompany.com" but account assistent has been downloaded from "mail.yourcompany.local", "mail" or IP address.
