I'm looking for feedback on running the Kerio Mailserver on a Windows 2012 machine, with it's mailstore on a NTFS partition with deduplication enabled. I'm planning on running with 100 users, and aproximately 200 GBs of email.

Has anyone tried this configuration? Are there any performance hits associated with running with the mailstore on a deduplicating partition? Are there any known issues with Kerio MailServer on Windows 2012 in general? Does anyone know of any precautions I should take (outside of the usual ensure I have everything backed up etc)?

Thanks for the feedback!

We tested Kerio Connect v8.0.0 b639 on MS Windows 2012 without deduplication mode and everything is working fine (except the integration to the dashboard in MS Windows 2012 Essentials). However, MS claims that: "Applications and end users will not know that the data has been transformed on the disk and when a user/process requests a file, it will be transparently served up right away. The file system as a whole supports all of the NTFS semantics that you would expect."
