Hello,

In order to make my Internet connection working on a OVH hosting (host has ESXi, Kerio is in a VM which has an IP fail-over), I need to be able to enter a mask with the value 255.255.255.255

How can I do that with Kerio control ? It's not allowing me to enter this value, even it is the correct one.

In advance, many thanks for your help ! Wink

You should be able to set the mask larger (e.g. 255.255.255.252). You just will have reachability issues with neighbor IPs in the same address block.

Though, with a /32 mask, you are relying on Proxy ARP mechanisms for routing. I'm not sure if Kerio will perform that. That's primarily done for hosts, not routing devices.

If Kerio supports Proxy ARP (essentially, setting yourself as the default gateway), then it doesn't matter what mask you set.

Proxy ARP is largely frowned upon due to security issues. It's quite easy to intercept traffic without significant controls.

Well in fact the 252 mask did the trick, but the points you've mentioned excited my curiosity (or anxiousness, I don't know yet !!! Rolling Eyes )

I'll take a further look into that, I'm not really sure what you are talking about.

But anyway, many thanks for your help !
