Hi,

We recently installed Connect with Accounting > Gather Internet Usage set.

Users must authenticate to Connect on their first attempt to use a web browser.

On OSX the passwords can be saved/remembered on keychain so it does not have to be entered each time.

But iOS users need to authenticate every session since they cannot save their passwords.

I guess this is a limitation of iOS, but are there any workarounds?

Thanks,

ft.

IOS devices normally are not shared, so you could set up automatic authentication by ip address in Control and reserve that ip in the Dhcp server. It is a one time configuration.

Best regards.

Thanks for the info.

I created a group for such devices (also servers and our IP phones) and allocated that group to the admin in Users > Admin > IP Addresses > IP Address Group.

Seems to work.

Many thanks,

ft.
