Hi,

I would suggest testing this in WebMail to see if the behaviour is reproducible in WebMail or not. Also if you have a 43GB public folder and you move/delete an email in a folder that is that large then this will be a problem. When you move/delete a file from a folder the MailServer has to go through the index and remove/add the email from the index file. If you have a folder with a lot of emails then this index is going to be huge! This can slow things down a lot. I can suggest that you make sure that any folders you are using have 10,000 items or less. Anything more than 10,000 items in a single folder will start to reflect performance problems with the folder on the server.
