Hi. I cracked my head trying to configure GOIP4 GSM gateway to work with KO. I read both manuals about spa3102 and spa400 (and some about goip) and did everything as it was written there but the gateway remains unregistered. Debug says:

Quote:
chan_sip.c:4239 in send_response: #012<--- Transmitting (no NAT) to 10.111.1.62:5060 --->#012SIP/2.0 403 Forbidden (Bad auth)#015#012Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 10.111.1.62:5060;branch=z9hG4bK684865530;received=10.111.1.6 2#015#012From: <sip:7917804****@10.10.10.250>;tag=291956987#015#012To: <sip:7917804****@10.10.10.250>;tag=as3d350cd0#015#012Call-ID: 1970040785<_at_>10.111.1.62#015#012CSeq: 20 REGISTER#015#012Server: Kerio Operator#015#012Allow: INVITE, ACK, CANCEL, OPTIONS, BYE, REFER, SUBSCRIBE, NOTIFY, INFO, PUBLISH#015#012Supported: replaces, timer#015#012Content-Length: 0#015#012#015#012#012<------------>

10.111.1.62 - GOIP4
10.10.10.250 - KO
7917804**** - cell operator's number (sim-card)

I noticed that in spa400 manual there is no username in sip registrar section of KO and in spa3102 there is one. So what's the right way? The only way GOIP4 can be registered is to create a user and ext in KO, it doesn't work with just sip-account. Please, show me the right way.

Hi,

This depends on whether the GSM gateway can behave as a SIP server. From what you describe, I guess it cannot. You could solve this by creating a SIP interface in Operator that will have SIP registration disabled. Operator just needs to know the gateway's IP address to have a context for incoming calls. And it can send SIP calls to the address even without registration.

In a similar way, you can configure the GSM gateway to send incoming GSM calls to Operator's address, again without registration.

Thanks, i supposed that and created a sip account without registration. See my config.

KO:

Ext number - 7917***
Hostname - Gateway's ip
User - 7917***
Unchecked registration required

Gateway:

Sip registrar - Operator's ip
Sip proxy - Operator's ip
Auth ID - 7917***

Is this correct? In this case Gateway tryes to connect to KO but KO doesn't have user 7917*** and bans it by ip! What's wrong?

Hi,

You should not create a user and extension. I propose that you create an external interface in Operator (in the Call Routing screen) instead of the extension.

That's exactly what i did! The config above is from Call Routing screen in KO. I didn't create a user and ext and i think that's why KO can't authorize gateway.

Hi,

Could you capture the communication between Operator and the gateway? You can use Operator's built-in sniffer (available from the network configuration screen).
