Hi there. I've been testing the new KC8 on a virtualized windows server 2008 r2 64 bit with 4 GB Ram. At the moment we are still using a vm kerio 7.1.2 based on centos. 110 Accounts and 130 GB of data stored on a Dell Equallogic PSA4100.
With the linux version no problems so far. Everything runing smoothly since 2010.
With this new test machine, I'm experiencing bad performances when using webmail (both clients, not only the new mail client) and thunderbird via IMAP. Browsing the folders seems ok but when i try to send a new message, there's a 5-6 seconds delay before the message gets delivered.
Not yet tested with outlook and koff client (I've about 40 users using MS outlook).
Any idea?
Thanks in advance,
Max

It could be caused by slow DNS because the server does reverse DNS lookups when logging emails to the mail log.

Thank you. This did the trick. Anyway I have to investigate as it's a symptom of something wrong with my dns server!
