Hi all,

I have encountered this issue and wonder if it is a bug.
Using Kerio connect 8b639 webmail client
1) I am able to copy and paste image inline images in a new mail only when using Firefox browser. IE9 or Chrome doesn't seem to allow me to paste images to a new mail.
2) However after I sent out the email, external recipients are unable to see those images. Only internal recipients can view them via the webmail login.

Is this a known and expected behaviour? or does this behaviour means that the webmail client is broken when in comes to handling inline images.

Thanks.

I think it is a bug. I have found the following:

Using the new KC 8 mail client you can copy/paste a screenshot directly in the mail body (with FireFox).

If the recipient is using Kerio WebMail 8.0 or 7.x, the screenshot is displayed properly, even if he is in a different organisation (thus using a different Kerio Connect server).

If you open the mail in Outlook it will just display a place holder.

I guess the HTML encoding used is just not understood by Outlook (and possibly other mail clients).
