Is it possible to set per-user bandwidth controls in the QoS options without creating a single user for every IP address?

For instance, if I want to limit every user to 2Mbps/128Kbps separately.

So far I've only managed to limit all traffic.

I suspect there's a way to do this through firewall rules, but I need an example.

Please help!

In theory it can be done with the following:

- Create a group with all the users who you would like to apply QoS on;
- Create a traffic rule with the group of users as Source, configure Destination and Services base on your preference and in Action, use Allow, and setup a DSCP value (eg, 1)
- Under Bandwidth Management and QoS, create a rule and select "Packets marked with QoS DSCP value" and fill in the same number (eg, 1) in Traffic and configure the rest (Upload/Download/interface) based on your preference.
