Since this morning our Kerio Mailserver has a SMTP delay.
I tried upgrading to KMS 5.7.10, but that didn't help.
I takes about 5 to 30 minutes to process an email.

There seems to be noting wrong with the server,
the logs seem fine and pop3 works just fine.
I also checked gateway and ethernet connections.
Those are working just fine too.

Does anybody know what could cause this SMTP delay?

I'm having the same smtp delay issue. I noticed it beginning early last week (july 8th or so). POP3 receiving is fine; no delay. In looking at the connection window, some mail seems to be taking up to 6 or 7 minutes to leave the server.

I'm running 5.7.10 on Panther 10.3. Approximately a week prior to this, I activated the AntiSpam filter. (I stopped using it before because the spam engine kept failing and wouldn't deliver mail). Could the re-activation have anything to do with it?

I just talked with Kerio Support.
There is a problem with MAPS blacklists (sound like DNS issue). Disable them - it will work!

Hey, it's not exactly a DNS issue. Smile

The MAPS blacklists have always been a subscription service. Recently, they started enforcing this more strongly.
