Hi All,

good day, hope you are all well.

I was wondering if there is a guide on how to Update the Kerio Connect on Vsphere Servers (our current version is 5.1), colleagues importet the Kerio Connect Mailserver from a hardware client unto our VMware Vsphere Server 5.1 when i was away, everything is up and running now but how do i Upgrade to Kerio Connect Version 8.0 now? =)

Lots of thanks in advance to all that will read my post and provide hints and answers.

Best wishes and a pleasant day and weekend to you all

cheers

david

If you've got the mail server v7.4.3 running in Vsphere then most of the work has already been done.

It should be a case of running the v8.0 installer on the mailserver VM which will then upgrade your v7.4.3 version (make sure you have a full backup of everything first).

If you have Outlook clients running the offline connector then they'll be prompted to update and restart.

We moved from v7.4.3 to v8.0 last month and it went without a problem.

Was this an automatic thing that updated itself using a cron job or something similar?
