Hi
how to transfer call from a phone that does not have a transfer and flash button?
our company used 30 phone models DLINK dph-300s

This absence in supporting older phones must refrain from buying your product.
lack of a standard option "blindxfer = #" in your product surprises!

Hi,

Did anyone else encounter this issue? How would you handle situations when you need to send a DTMF "#" to an IVR menu?

Hi !
There is no problem with DTMF

The problem lies in extensions.conf
[sip-locals]

exten => 101,1,Macro(limitMaxCalls)
exten => 101,n,Macro(callPermissions,101)
exten => 101,n,Set(TMP_FALLBACK_NUMBER_CLEANUP=${TMP_FALLBACK_NUMBER} )
exten => 101,n,Set(TMP_FALLBACK_NUMBER=)
exten => 101,n,Set(CHANNEL(musicclass)=moh_0)
exten => 101,n,KerioCallHistoryUpdate(ktsToType=Line,ktsTo=101)
exten => 101,n,Macro(callRecording,${CALLERID(NUM)},${EXTEN})
exten => 101,n,Dial(SIP/101,15) Crying or Very Sad
Dial command does not contain options tT

After modification of this line in
exten => 101,n,Dial(SIP/101,15,tT)
And the CLI command dialplan reload
Blind transfer works great!

Please fix it

Hi,

sorry for the delay. It is not that simple as it may sound. The command you propose would allow both parties, the caller and the callee, to forward calls. You definitely don't want to allow strangers to be able to do so.

Detecting whether a call is in->out, out->in seems like piece of cake. Unfortunately, there are also calls in->in, out->out and several pbx services which make it hard to determine which party should be allowed to make call transfers.

So, thank you for pointing this out. I'll see what I can do.

Best
Filip

Hi!

exten => 101,n,Dial(SIP/101,15,tT)
This line shows a classic example of using options "tT"
But really only necessary option "t", it simplifies the situation
exten => 101,n,Dial(SIP/101,15,t)

I can't agree. What if your secretary calls you, wouldn't you expect for both of you to be able to forward the call? In this case you need flags "tT".

A similar problem exists for outbound calls as well. When you dial out of the company you should be able to transfer your end of the call to another person. In this case, you'd need a 'T' flag. Unfortunately, there are situations where it could lead to a security risk.
