I have been wondering, why all events created on the Apple Calendar gets saved with a time zone GMT +0.00 , thus having all my appointments made there with an offset of 5 hours. If I However, use them on my iPhone or any web client, they do get the proper time. Does anyone knows how to fix this?

What time zone? Does your time zone have Daylight saving?

I am currently GMT -5 in Bogotá. It does not have DST

I see that If they invitations are done through my phone or the web client, they do get well. But I noticed that if I make the appointments or invitations through the apple calendar, they get with GMT +0, thus the 7 hour diference.

I previously had set the support timezones option in the calendar settings, and turning it off, does not seem to fix the thing.

If, on the other hand, things are done on my phone or iPad or webclient... they do show correctly on all the devices or clients, including the apple calendar.

It is something that the calendar saves on the particular appointments done through it.

We will address this issue in next service release. In the meanwhile, as a workaround, you can select another time zone/city with the same time offset and with DST in iCal.
