No, do you find the TIFF file pointless? The idea behind including it was that fax data is infact TIFF and the conversion to a PDF might fail, eventhough I've never experienced that.

This seems a bit strange. As usually, can I ask you to:
1. Enable debug logs: Asterisk, Asterisk detailed
2. Start packet sniffer
3. Reproduce the issue
4. Stop packet sniffer
5. Create a support info
Email me the logs, dump and the support info.
