Hello,

first a explanation to our environment:
Kerio Connect
BesX and KBC
Outlook 2010 and KOFF

Two question regarding updating BesX and KBC
Is it necessary to stop KoffBackend.exe before shutting down the BB-Services in order to update BesX?

The last time i updated kerio connect to a newer version and the KBC the users having a blackberry device had doubled contacts and calendar items after the update, is there any special order in how to update KBC?

Are there any documents regarding updates in an environment having Kerio Connect/BesX/KBC, i found the best practices for updating BesX on the RIM sites, but no word to KBC there.

To update BesX with KBC running just stop the BB services in the following order:

http://kb.kerio.com/product/kerio-connect/kerio-connector-fo r-blackberry/how-to-stop-start-blackberry-enterprise-server- 900.html

Stopping the BB Services stops also any related Kerio processes.

No clue though why updating Kerio Connect and KBC resulted in some cases to duplicated contacts/calendar entries for BB users, maybe somebody has some best practices at hand?
