I use Kerio Connect 8.0.0 working on MacOsX.

On my apple mail client I see some ~users<_at_>mydomain forders which was removed from the server (doesn't work for company anymore, accounts are delated and all data was copied to the postmaster account).

The same folders I see when I would like to subscribe imap folders for example using Outlook.

How can I remove this folders permanently.

Thanks.

Maybe the reason is that I subscribe some users folders in the past and after users accounts are delated by admin I see some residual information. I see even one folder for user who was removed without copied data to postmaster account.

If the account was set up as imap and the account doesnt exist anymore - to my knowledge - the user can't access the folders as they do not exist on the server for the user plus the user cannot connect anymore. If in doubt, you can always ask the user to bring their laptop in, or if its a computer go to theirs and check.

Example: I have userA and userB. UserB share own folders to userA. When I remove userB, userA still see ~userA<_at_>mydomain forders in Apple Mail client.
The same folders userA see when would like to subscribe imap folders for example using Outlook. When I remove userA and create userA again, new created userA still see userB folders. Only way to fix it is create userB again, share the same folders for userA, remove sharing for userA and remove userB. Crazy but true. Works this way in 8.0.0 and 8.0.1. Looks like sharing information is outside userA and userB data in Kerio and the way of removing users, doesn't work perfectly and leaves some ghost data.

You can fix this manually by modifying the folder.map file in the user's mail folder.

1. Open up Terminal
2. Navigate to the user's folder:

sudo cd /%PATH_TO_KERIO_STORE%/mail/%DOMAIN.COM%/%USERNAME%/

3. Open the folder.map file using a text editor you prefer. You'll need sudo permission, so command line editor would probably be easier. I prefer vi.

sudo vi folder.map

4. You'll see all the folders the user is subscribed to listed in the file. Remove the one that doesn't exist.

5. Restart Kerio Connect.

Sorry, I did not see that you are using KC 8. My above instructions are from version 7, if it doesn't apply to version 8, I apologize in advance.

As I told:

"When I remove userA and create userA again, new created userA still see userB folders"

When I remove userA I remove all user directory with all files inside. Problem is not related to any file from USER directory.

Bat thanks for help.
