We are moving from form-based login to non-transparent proxy so as to filter "https" urls.
Is proxy login information encrypted between browser and server, or is sent in clear text?

Thanx!

No, they are not encrypted. But Control since version 7.4 have the same filtering capabilities on transparent HTTPS as on proxy, filtering is no more reason to move to proxy.

Thanks for your answer.... but, just to know: how does Kerio Control know the host name if client encrypts it? Is there some man-in-the-middle hack?

Thanks again
