I'm trying to recover a removed inbox from the backup files by using the kmsrecover command.

./kmsrecover -d clima.fm -u m.vanoort /mnt/mailbackup/
Running kmsrecover will modify the Kerio Connect store directory.
You should use it only if your store directory has been damaged.
Current data will be DELETED and recovered from the backup,
all changes since the last backup will be lost.
Are you sure you want to continue (yes/no): yes
Recovery started at 2013-02-28 12:31:31

Recovery process finished successfully.

It seems that the inbox is recovered but it's not.
When login into the admin interface the recovered inbox isn't there.

Could someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Regards Jeffrey

I'm not sure I fully understand your situation.

If a user has been deleted and you want recover them incl. data, you must create same username in admin interface and then recover data by kmsrecover.
Users are defined in users.cfg and because it's only partial recovery without mailserver.cfg and users.cfg recovery, user is not created, only their data has been copied to store/mail/clima.fm/vanoort/

Hi Jeffery,

Also to add to the above post, when did you remove the mailbox? was it before the backup as the backup you used was from the date "2013-02-24"? If it was you may need to use an older backup to retrieve the mailbox.

Hope this helps,
