We just installed Kerio Operator and have configured it to try to work like our old system.

So, here are some parameters:
-No need to dial "9" to get an outside line.
-We use three digit extensions that start at 100
-Direct voice mail is 7+extension

So, the problem we have is that 714 is a valid area code and if someone tried to dial the number it thinks you are trying to connect to a voice mail box.

Can we use another prefix, such as * or # for the direct to voice mail dialing? We would prefer to avoid having to dial "9" or something else to get an outside line.

You can change the prefix for direct dialing to voicemail (or disable it) under Voicemail > General in the Admin GUI.
