Hi'

Kerio Connect 8.0.1 build 1028 // OS X Server 10.6.8

Setting up my Mac clients (10.8.3) with the »Kerio Connect Account Assistant«

Folders created in the Public folder and shared for any one on the server won't display in Address Book.
Have tried to delete and run the »Kerio Connect Account Assistant« again whit out any result.

On my iOS devices any thing is working great!

Please help or tell me that it is not possible Smile

Cheers - Mads Daniel

Hi Mads,

So you are saying that you have multiple contacts folders in the Kerio public folders? If this is true Address Book will not show each of those folders individually. If you want to see the folders individually in Address Book you would need to assign the contacts to a category as Address Book can show categories as groups in Address Book.

You should find that if you search for any contact in Address Book it will find it but it will not display separate folders. If I have made the wrong assumption please let me know.

All the best,
Vicky

Is it possible to assign categories from Address Book or to assign categories in bulk from the webmail interface? We have thousands of contacts in a number of groups and I've only been able to manually assign a category one contact at a time so that it shows up as a group in the Address Book.

Hi AJ08,

Assigning categories/groups in Address Book has been hit and miss in certain version of Connect. The best way to it is via WebMail but the one draw back like you said is that this has to be done one by one. You might be able to do a mass action with some scripting but it's not something I would be able to help with really.

All the best,
Vicky
