Hi I have a client that has emails not reaching all their recipients.
The client will receive emails from a local government organisation. The email will be a distribution list whereby some members of the list receive the email and others not. It is a sporadic problem

Loggin from connect looks like:
[19/Mar/2013 15:46:41] Recv: Queue-ID: 51488861-00005fb0, Service: POP3, From: <yyy.yyy@zzz.gov.uk>, To: <NULL>, Size: 110718, server mail.ccc.co.uk, user all<_at_>ccc.co.uk, mailbox {Received}
> [19/Mar/2013 15:46:41] POP3 download: 1 message (110718 bytes) downloaded from server mail.zzz.co.uk, with username all<_at_>ccc.co.uk.
> [19/Mar/2013 15:46:46] Recv: Queue-ID: 51488866-00005fb1, Service: DSN, From: <postmaster@localhost>, To: <yyy.yyy<_at_>zzz.gov.uk>, Size: 4282, Report: failed

Domain names have been removed. As you can see the receip is NULL yet other emails get through

Any suggestion welcome

has there been ay fixes regarding this?

Kind regards

Andrew

This looks more like a bad POP3 sorting rules configuration or invalid email format.
I recommend to consult debug log (with enabled POP3 download messages) and also the message source (headers).

Hi Thanks for the prompt reply
The POP3 account is a catch all account. I hadnt looked at the DEBUG log just the Email

Very strange as some recipients receive an email and others dont from the same distribution email coming in
