Hi.

I have a dedicated server from OVH. In this company you have to assign subnetmask 255.255.255.255 in your Network configuration.

How is that possible to do that in kerio control 8?

Hi

I'm not sure I understand.

The definition of a subnet is to identify to the firewall and any switches what counts as 'interesting' traffic. Therefore, applying a subnet mask of 255.255.255.255 means that the firewall will not identify anything else in the connected network as being interesting. It might mess with many features of Kerio, including the ability to route traffic correctly.

Could you clarify why the configuration requires that subnet mask? And what you are attempting to do?

Alternatively, you may find that creating a ticket with support may prove more fruitful. If you do so, please include a network diagram to aid their understanding of the situation.

Thank you!

Kindly check the link that I have sent into your pm box to see why they require it.

This is an obligatory condition in this datacenter not my desire.

Hope to hear from you soon.
