We're currently in the process of moving our existing Trixbox CE phone system over to a Kerio Operator box. Everything is working fine, except we had upgraded the firmware on our Polycom 321 phones to version 4, and everytime the phones boot we get an error saying Pre 3.3.0 Config (and there's a little exclamation mark on the phone when it's running).

My question is, which is better (or possible!): Downgrade the firmware on the phones to match Kerio Operator, or update the config on Kerio Operator to get to 4.0?

We'd rather stick with the 4.0 firmware as the web config on the phones is much nicer than it was with 3.x, although this would most likely involve a bit of work on Kerio Operator, which I'm not really familiar with.

Hi Michael,

I would stay with the 4.x firmware. If it doesn't bother you, just ignore the exclamation mark. The phones should fully understand the older configuration and work just fine.

In the next major version of Kerio Operator we will support Polycom firmwares > 3.3.0.
