Hi there everyone,

I gave up using Internet Exploder some time ago (except for obstinate web sites), and moved over to Opera. 95% of websites are fine with it, but unfortunately KMS WebMail isn't too good.

Issues so far are:-
1. Can't set up filtering rules (when you choose Add, it ignores me).
2. Right click within the inbox, etc. in KMS6Beta shows the normal Opera menu.

Anyone got any ideas? Will email Kerio about it also.

ad 2) Go to File->Preferences->Multimedia->JavaScript Options
and check "Allow scripts to receive right clicks".
Although the Opera has a bug in handling right clicks (it is hooked to one mouse events only - can't remember which one right now) it works a bit tricky. After you check the option use right click and then left click - Opera context menu will appear.
The bug was reported to Opera and hopefully it will be fixed.

Many thanks for that. Still a little odd... have to right click, then left click for the menu to appear, but still much better.

Still ignores me when I click on any of the command buttons in the Filter page (as v5 did).

Unfortunatelly I don't know how to help you with this so far. I guess we have to wait for next Webmail and/or Opera release.

We know about problems with Opera,
KerioWebMail is not "website" but web application.
Opere doesn't support all JavaScript functionality KWM needs. MSIE and FireFox do. So we mainly support them.

Hmmm, that's a bit weak. Lots of people can write web applications that work in Opera as well as other browsers; even MS with Outlook Web Access! It's a shame, as the previous webmail worked perfectly, so I feel that I have lost functionality.

actually, webmail in v5 didn't work right in Opera either - ever tried adding a filter?
I always resorted to IE for doing that. Shame, but I have to resort to IE for internet banking with one of my banks (they refuse to let you use anything except IE or Netscape, but I am leaving shortly - for other reasons - so it won't be a problem for long).

Opera seems to be so much quicker, and I love that when you close down Opera after using some annoying sites, you don't end up with 20 more windows popping up. When you close it, you really close it!

Using Exchange 2003, OWA works with Opera so long as it is not pretending to be IE6! In other words, Opera can't use the IE6 code, but Exchange (unlike Kerio!!) will adapt its code to Opera to make it work.

Yes it works, because OWA has actually two webmail interfaces - full one for IE 6.0 and fall-back simple one for other browsers, including Opera.

That's not the case of KMS webmail, so unsupported browsers unfortunatelly don't work at all.
