Does Operator support the PCI-e version of the TDM410?

Hi,

officially not. However, it might work in Operator 2.1.1.

Best

I wasn't really looking to take a chance on it. Is there any timeframe for official support? What's the probability of this working without official support?

We have not tested the AEX410, so it's difficult to estimate. I think the probability is above 50% with the 2.1.1 - still not what you expect to read, I think. I think we could test the card in Q3.

If I knew there would be a concerted effort to add official support, I'd consider buying it now and test it. I understand you're juggling a lot of requests, though.

The main reason for this card is the lack of PCI interfaces in newer virtualized servers. In my case, it is the Dell R520.

Are there still plans to test this configuration, or certify the AEX410?

The use case is a virtualized server hosting an Operator VM. PCI Passthrough/DirectPath I/O is required.

Just checking back on where the AEX410 sits in the plans.

Hi,

I expect AEX410 should work. We are now waiting for our AEX410 to be delivered (takes longer in Europe). I think we should be able to share the test results relatively soon.
