Hi All,

1st time poster. Wondering if anyone can help. We're currently running Kerio Mailserver 6.3.0 and would like to upgrade to Kerio Connect 8.0.2. According to a little research I found there's a couple of milestone versions we haven't hit yet:
Kerio MailServer 6.5.2
Kerio MailServer 6.7.3 Patch 1

I wondering if this will work if I install ver 8.0.2 on a new server and restore the backup from version 6.3.0

Yes, that is right - you will need to follow certain milestone versions. You've probably seen it here:

You CANNOT restore backup from version 6.3 to Kerio Connect version 8.0.2.

Thanks for the quick reply and for the link. Is there any other good reference material I should be looking at prior to the upgrade?

Hi,

The KB article my colleague gave is the best thing to read as it gives you all the prerequisites and provides you with details about changes etc...

All the best,
Vicky
