Hi All,

I'm currently attempting to perform some testing on a couple of Operator boxes.

Both are set up on two BT Openreach ISDN lines.

The first box (2.1.0 build 1543) is ours in the office. We have a problem in that we are told by BT Local Business, that the two lines should handle any combination of calls.

For example:

1 call out, 3 calls in
2 calls out. 2 calls in
3 calls out, 1 call in
4 calls out
4 calls in

It does however, cap at 2 calls in or out at any time. When attempting to exceed that number, an engaged tone is heard, either out or in.

Same thing occurs on the box with our client (2.0.3 build 1134)

Attached is an example config. Can anyone set me on the straight and narrow with this one?

Thanks!

Make sure you have set the maximum number of concurrent calls on each line to 2 otherwise KO will just try to use the same ISDN line to do ALL calls resulting in a busy tone

That is exactly the information I need to know, but being a relative noob to the box I don't know where to change that. Where is the setting kept?

Looking at the Advanced Options, the setting is:

Maximum number of concurrent calls: 100

Also, the setting on the interface card is:

Number of concurrent calls: Unlimited.

Oh I see are you talking about setting the threshold to 2? Brilliant. I'll give it a go. Thank you!

That's the right place, just change the maximum number of concurrent calls to 2 on both ISDN interfaces, that way it will know to switch over to the other line when the other cannot accept any more calls
