Windows 2008
Kerio version 8.0.0 build 639
Clients on mixture of Outlook 2007 and 2010

A couple of users now report that emails in some folders are missing in outlook. Folder is there but empty. It just happened, no alteration in outlook or kerio. We have uninstalled and reinstalled Kerio connector and kerio account. I have reindexed the mailboxes. The emails are there in webmail. Also when troubleshooting, I notice in Windows event log on server, Security, EVENT 4625 audit fail errors It shows that

Account Name firstpartofkerioemailaddress
Account Domain domaininemailaddress

failed to logon since unknown username and password. Why would they remote PC try and login via Windows account?

Not seen this before. Any ideas?

slight amendment. if you clear cache in outlook, the messages didnt appear, but if you uninstall kerio connector and reinstall and recreate the account they appear.
