Hi,

I have certain external IP addresses that keeps trying dictionary attacks on various servers.

I want to add specific addresses to a group and block that group at Kerio Control.

Does the following rule at the top of the list do this?

Banned Banned IPs Any Any Drop

Is that going to block anything I don't want it to ?

Thanks,

ft.

Your rule looks correct but without commas to separate the sections I wanted to write it a different way.

Create a IP Address group of the IPs you want to block then create the following rule:

Name - Blocked IPs
Source - (IP Group you want blocked)
Destination - Any
Services - Any
Action - Deny

If you meant "Banned, Banned IP Group, Any, Any, Drop" that is the same thing.
