Hi,

Is there an easy way to reset all the voicemail greetings on a specific extension back to default?

Thanks,

ft.

Hi,

it is not available from the web administration. You'll need to use ssh to connect to the Operator shell.

After that execute:
ls -al /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/sip-locals/10/

The greetings are called busy.wav, greet.wav, temp.wav and unavail.wav

You can erase them by executing:
rm /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/sip-locals/10/*.wav

To erase the whole mailbox, execute:
rm -rf /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/sip-locals/10

Don't forget to replace 10 with the appropriate extension phone number.

Very good. Thanks for the info.

I added a feature request for a gui button to perform this function.
