Is it possible for people that are in a call queue to dial another number to get through to a voicemail of a mailbox? Basically we want to play a message to say "your call is x in the queue please hold for the next availale agent or press x to leave a voicemail"

This functionality is not yet supported. You can propose it using the button "Suggest idea" in the Administration GUI's splash screen.
