While using a Snom on firmware 8.4.35, I'm able to dial a 3 digit extension and it'll execute automatically after the 3rd digit is entered. As soon as I upgrade to 8.7.3 or newer firmware, I'm required to hit the green checkmark button. I can't find any differences in the settings in the phone that would cause this behavior. I'd like to know if it's working or not working for you, and any possible solution. Thanks.

Hi,

could you please log in to the snom's web administration, click Settings and look for user_dp_str1. This field contains the phone's dialplan. We can check it, if you post it here.

Best
Filip

On Firmware 8.4.35 (functions properly):
user_dp_str1!: !^(*5[0-9\*#]{2})$|^(199)$|^(2[0-9\*#]{2})$|^(30[0-9\*#]{1}) $|^(405)$|^(6[0-9\*#]{1})$|^(72[0-9\*#]{2})$!sip:\1@\d!d

On Firmware 8.7.3.19 (doesn't work):
user_dp_str1!: !^(*5[0-9\*#]{2})$|^(199)$|^(2[0-9\*#]{2})$|^(30[0-9\*#]{1}) $|^(405)$|^(6[0-9\*#]{1})$|^(72[0-9\*#]{2})$!sip:\1@\d!d

I don't see any difference.

This appears to be more a Snom issue than an Operator issue. Certainly a lot of Snom users here, so it is worth the thread.

I do think you would want to make sure you have a Snom support/forum thread running too, if you haven't already.

Hi

they must have changed something in the Snom firmware. The strings looks fine except that there is an extra space character in the middle and the first asterisk is not escaped. It might be a copy&paste issue, but can you try to override the setting with:

Thanks,

It was caused by the un-escaped "*" character. It will be fixed in Operator 2.1.2.

Thank you,
Filip

That was it! Thank you. Any ETA on 2.1.2?
