After much non compliance softwares behaviour
and stupidity on my behalf finally things are
working dare ii say it (almost) faultlessly.
Have given the SSL side of things the thumbs up
yet it can be blooody annoying having the
secure certification warnings comeup in outlook
clients saying whinge whinge about it not coming
from a trusted root server if you got game and knocked
up your own certificate.
Quein ratle waving or shaking of murakas.
Yes highly dramatic :P
I still get the occasional exceptional error thingo
which repeats 5 or so times in the log next time it happens i'll
add that at a later date to this post.
The help is rather vague makes a good summary in most cases
but might need more thorough descriptions for some things?
Otherwise i love it.
Time limited betas what a *censored
but thats the way it's gotta be or we stay with old
stuff never buy new and whinge when theres updates and nothing works with old versions no more BOOHOO !
To those dedicated to using fossilised software
best of luck on your expedition.
I think you can export and import most things so it's not
a real drama?
Reinstalling every month or whatever.
The price for full version is scary though especially
with antivirus compared to OS's etc.
Yet one could argue that yes indeed this software
could pay for itself through the valuable email
that may traverse through this wonderfull program.
All depends i suppose on a number of factors.
Meanwhile home users are going OUCH! it's somewhat like
having a sharp object hurtling your way.
I love the software and everything it does i find no real fault
with it at this stage and reliabillity wise it's been
rock steady even when everything else was crashing around it's ears.
But pricetag is all that gets me nevermind when able
i shall do so as this is the only mail server for the
new macs easy to use for newby escapee win converts.
In english that means if i can use it almost anyone could*
*Legal disclaimer if your non compus mentus this need not apply.
